Born in February 1994, Andrew Onono is a full-time artist residing in Kampala, Uganda. He holds a Bachelor of Art and Industrial Design degree from Kyambogo University, Uganda. He has a private studio, Art Bond Studio, located at Naalya, Uganda.
“My predilection as a painter is to visually revitalize disenfranchised communities by building their self-esteem to provide a new understanding, insight and a healthy outlet feelings and emotions among other positive energies.
In my current artwork, I am focusing on a therapeutic journey to bring together different expressions and inner thoughts that most people find a little hard to verbally put across.
My paintings delve into the reality of emotions which explore inner feelings that are essential to validation and acceptance.” – Andrew Onono
