Born in 1997, Aaron Brogan Mwesigwa is based in Kampala, Uganda. He is in the final year of pursuing a Bachelor of Industrial and Fine Art at Makerere University, Uganda. According to Aaron: “In waste paper, I found gold. I create my drawings on recycled paper to achieve a level of realism and hyperrealism pencil drawings”.
He also had this to say about his entry artwork: “Letters are a big contribution to our journey in life. They create or destroy, bring joy, celebration or disappointment, and sadness. From application letters, love letters, official letters name them. A person’s next step in life can be determined on a piece of words. That’s why the process of writing a letter is not just like any other process.” – Aaron Brogan Mwesigwa
