Born in 1997, Peter Nshekanabo is a practicing artist based in Nalya, Uganda. He holds a Bachelor of Art and Industrial Design from Kyambogo University, Uganda. In his art, he boldly tackles what may be seen as an unsavoury topic of conditions in slums.
“My paintings sensitize the slum dwellers on bad sanitation and poor hygiene which manifests epidemics such as cholera, typhoid and dysentery. Just like the stories of the day to day occurrences, sensitive every moment is captured in a fusion of both objective and subjective imagery representation.
