Born in February 2002, Joan Namaggwa is a full-time artist based in Kampala, Uganda. She holds a Bachelor of Industrial and Fine Arts degree from Makerere University, Uganda. Her work involves the use of surrealism as she explores the boundaries of reality to deliver oil paintings that cover a range of aspects of the human experience.
