Born in 1997, Trevor Mark Aloka is a full-time artist based in Mutungo, Uganda. His entry artwork is part of a series of works entitled ‘Ready for Export’.
“Ready for Export is from a body of work that speaks to the movement of the African body as a material and a tool. The work juxtaposes precious metals and the African body to speak to the position of the African in various places they occupy.
